Senior Software Engineer Telecommunications
Functions:
SW Development and programming of the Axiros solution portfolio (open device and Service Management)
Analysis of protocols and implementation of integration
Managing project and service requirements in telecommunications ecosystems
Integration into the customer ecosystem and subsequent support
Profile / Hard Skills:
- 5 years experience in programming with Python
- Extensive experience working with Linux
- Knowledge about network stacks, technologies and transport protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, HTTP, Websockets, REST, SOAP, maybe knowledge in SNMP, DHCP, TR-069, DOCSIS)
- Messaging and streaming technologies (e.g. MQTT, AMQP, Kafka, MapReduce, RxPY)
- SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MogoDB, Redis, and Cassandra or Aerospike)
- Web Technologies (HTML5, Javascript (e.g. NodeJS, AngularJS, maybe experience with RiotsJS or React))
- Desirable knowledge: MongoDB, Zope
- Knowledge of German/DACH telco environment
Soft skills:
- Results and success driven, entrepreneurial thinking, proactive and used to work independently
- Proven experience and success track in managing complex telco projects
- Able to communicate and deal with C-level management
- Ability to work under pressure and availability to travel
- Fluent in English and German
